"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" will be released as two separate films with the first of the two slated to be released in theatres on November 18, 2011.

Drama set in the viking age, Helgi witnesses the destruction of his village and narrowly escapes to his uncle Rurik who raises him like his son. Many years later he meets the people responsible for his parents death and someone he never expected to see again.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is like last’s year’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon on steroids. Everything that was slightly good in that film becomes better. There’s slightly more intentional humor, less of protagonist Bella Swan moping, and some mostly well-done (if slightly redundant at times) set pieces. But the aspect of the The Twilight Saga I hate the most—the advocating for the possession of a woman under the guise of “love”—is taken to an excruciating level. I know that this review can’t dissuade fans from seeing the movie. I know that I’ve made my problems with the subtext clear in my reviews of the first two films. So what I’d like to do this time out is struggle with why the fans love this series and what had them cheering at the end of the movie.

The moon may be new and the director may be different (Chris Weitz takes over the reins from Catherine Hardwicke), but otherwise, the second installment of the "Twilight" saga remains, for better or worse, exceptionally faithful to its 2008 beginnings.

What you get with this title is a film that checks into the Twilight saga whilst also adding a couple of pieces from other popular vampire series that felt like it was a bit flat as the snappy one liners really lacked bite alongside cast members who did their damnedest with an inferior script that should have been shoved in the grave long ago.

Matt is haunted by the death of a girl from a car accident he caused years ago. Matt was drunk and as he reached for the car radio, he struck the girl as she crossed the road. The guilt that he feels has altered his sense of reality, making Matts life a mystery full of shadows and phantoms. Now, years later Matt goes away for weekend with his new girlfriend Dawn. After a wild session of lovemaking, Dawn goes for a walk. While she is away a strange man with an ax comes into the motel room and attacks Matt. After that incident Matt goes into the woods, looking for Dawn. There he encounters Dawns family who tie him down and put him on trail for the murder of the girl years before. They find him guilty and he is sent back into the forest to be hunted down by the family. The deeper Matt runs into the forest the farther his mind is lost to the Blackwoods.

When Bill goes to have Jo sign the divorce papers so he can marry his new girl, Melissa, Jo finds a collection of record breaking tornados and Bill follows along, soon his duties shift from divorcing Jo to helping her with record breaking technology to create a better warning system.

Dawn grows up in the shadow of a nuclear power plant. In high school, while her biology class studies evolution, she realizes she may have a hidden curse, an adaptation. She lives with her mom, step-father, and hard-edged step-brother. She likes Tobey, a guy at school, and he likes her. She takes a pledge to remain chaste until marriage, so they date in groups, watch G-rated films, and dont kiss, but the power of teen hormones is great, so temptation beckons. Dawn has an admirer in Ryan, and when she breaks it off unexpectedly with Tobey, she turns to Ryan for help. Will he be her mythical hero and rescue her? Or can she find her way as her own hero, turning the curse into an asset?

I am not someone who insists that cartoons obey the laws of physics or stick to the historical record. The Acme Corporation will not deliver a home catapult kit to an unmarked mesa in the desert Southwest, and, “Up” notwithstanding, even a modest bungalow is unlikely to make an intercontinental flight propelled solely by helium balloons. Everyone is aware of these fundamental truths, and no one is likely to complain when they are flouted for purposes of entertainment.

Twilight would be the same movie with or without vampires. Edward is attracted to Bella because she smells delicious, but he could just as easily have been attracted to her because she’s really super-hot. Bella on the other hand, is attracted to Edward for the same reason all teenage girls seem to be attracted to bad boys. I don’t know what that reason is, but the female lust for jerks is something of a universal constant, and it’s on full display here. This is a story of a nice girl attracted to a brooding, edgy, asshole. The vampire stuff is there only to provide a little extra eye candy, it’s almost a gimmick, but the shallow romance themes in play are timeless, ageless, and they work well enough. It’s a film sure to make 16-year-old girls and women who think Matthew McConaughey is sexy, squeal with delight.
